Stephen worked extensively with Japanese companies in the UK and USA during his long sojourn at Deloitte. Since setting up Greenback Alan, he has built strong relationships with a large number of Japanese clients. A specialist in audit, financial accounting and corporate finance, Stephen is regularly requested to write and lecture on these topics. Stephen holds a number of non-executive directorships in listed and private companies.

Tony specializes in audit, management accounting and corporation tax. Having acted for Japanese and other international businesses for many years, Tony has a profound understanding of Japanese business culture and takes pride in providing a meticulous, rapid and proactive service.

Jon Fisher
Partner

Jon joined Greenback Alan from Ernst & Young and then Nomura. He focuses on audit, financial accounting and corporation tax. Having spent seven years living and working in Japan he is well acquainted with Japanese culture. Jon has also worked as a translator in the finance sector and is at home in both spoken and written Japanese.

Yusuke Takanishi
Accounts & Audit Senior

Yusuke came to London from his native Nagoya in 2003. He has been with Greenback Alan since 2007, serving a broad range of Japanese and other clients in both a technical and a liaison role. He has successfully completed his ACCA exam training and his sincere and trustworthy attitude toward work has gained a great reputation from our clients.

Gaku Sato
Senior Japanese Liaison Officer

Gaku has more than thirteen years’ experience working for a major Japanese finance company, including six years as an expatriate manager and Company Secretary for its UK subsidiary in London. He has extensive knowledge of and experience in marketing, administration and management of a Japanese subsidiary overseas. He plays a key liaison and technical role in the Japanese department.

Chie Haga

Chie has been working in accounting and bookkeeping roles for Japanese business since 1990, including fifteen years in Japan. She understands well the needs of Japanese subsidiaries, branches and representative offices in the UK and quickly gained a great reputation amongst our clients for her reliability and attention to detail.

Emu Urasaki
Tax Assistant & Liaison Officer

Emu is originally from Fukuoka and spent her teenage years in Singapore. She has trained in personal tax in the Japanese Human Capital section at Deloitte and has extensive experience in marketing and liaison roles in the Japanese business community in London. She plays a key liaison and technical role in the Japanese department.

Kei Kinoshita
Audit & Accounts Assistant

Kei was educated in Japan, New Zealand and the UK and is fully bilingual. She is studying for her ACA qualification and assists in a wide range of audit and accounting work. Kei also speaks Spanish.
