Jon joined Greenback Alan from Ernst & Young and then Nomura Asset Management. He focuses on audit, financial accounting and corporation tax. He has supported a wide variety of listed and unlisted businesses from overseas, particularly Japan, establishing operations in the UK, and is well acquainted with the difficulties faced by foreign direct investors.
Having spent seven years living and working in Japan he is well acquainted with Japanese culture. Jon has also worked as a translator in the finance sector and is at home in both spoken and written Japanese.
In his spare time Jon is a keen amateur tri-athlete, enjoying particularly the camaraderie and long-term commitment that characterize multi-sport.
