Prior to joining Greenback Alan Chi worked at Deloitte and PWC for more than 15 years in total, providing tax and other related services to clients in a variety of fields and of different sizes. At Greenback Alan he advises Japanese and Chinese companies in the UK covering large areas of expatriate and employment tax issues including all UK tax compliance matters, HMRC enquiries and payroll issues.
Chi also has significant experience in advising non-UK domiciled high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs, especially those coming from the Far East, who would like to settle in the UK via the Tier 1 Investor programme. The advice includes pre-arrival UK tax planning, bank account structuring, long term residence tax issues and UK inheritance tax planning.
Chi is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and Association of Taxation Technicians.
